Can my company connect directly to PayNet?

Yes, if your company meets certain criteria, direct integration with PayNet is possible.

Who can connect directly?

Primary Participants
These are entities regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), including:

  • Banking Institutions (including Digital Banks)

  • Approved Issuers of a Designated Payment Instrument

  • Registered Merchant Acquirers

  • Independent ATM Acquirers

  • Entities regulated by a competent regulatory authority

  • Approved statutory bodies

Indirect Participants
These must be either:

  • An approved E-Money Issuer, and/or

  • A registered Merchant Acquirer with BNM

If your company or your supporting provider doesn’t fall into these categories or isn’t regulated by BNM, you’ll need to work with your bank to explore product options that support your integration needs.
