Which banks support JomPAY?
JomPAY is supported by 42 banks in Malaysia. Customers can pay bills using Internet or Mobile Banking services from any of these banks.
Do I need to register for JomPAY?
No separate registration is required. You only need an Internet or Mobile Banking account with a participating bank.
How do I pay a bill using JomPAY?
Find the Biller Code and Customer Reference Number on your bill, log in to your bank’s Internet or Mobile Banking, select JomPAY, enter the codes and amount, then confirm and authorize the payment.
Are there any fees for paying bills via JomPAY?
No. Payments made through JomPAY are free of charge for customers.
When will my payment be credited to the biller?
Payments made before your bank’s cut-off time on a banking business day will be credited on the same day. Payments after cut-off or on weekends/public holidays will be processed on the next banking business day.
Can I schedule future payments via JomPAY?
Some banks offer future-dated payment options via JomPAY. Check with your bank for availability.
What is a Biller Code?
A Biller Code is a unique identifier assigned to each biller registered with JomPAY to enable correct routing of payments.
What is the Customer Reference Number?
The Customer Reference Number (Ref-1 and optionally Ref-2) uniquely identifies your account with the biller, ensuring your payment is credited correctly.
What should I do if my payment did not go through?
Verify your payment details including Biller Code, Reference Number, and amount. Check if you made the payment before the bank’s cut-off time. Contact your bank with your JomPAY Reference Number for assistance.
Can I pay using my Credit Card?
Yes, payments can be made using Credit Card accounts if supported by your bank.
