🧾 How to Onboard to MyDebit Acceptance
Merchants can onboard to MyDebit acceptance through two main channels:
1. Apply via MyDebit Participating Banks:
Merchants can submit an application to any MyDebit participating bank to enable MyDebit acceptance on their Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals. The bank will guide the merchant through the onboarding process, including terminal installation and compliance requirements.
2. Apply via Third Party Acquirers (TPAs):
Merchants, especially small and micro businesses, can onboard through authorized third-party acquirers, which offer digitalized and remote onboarding processes.
Tip: TPAs are often preferred by micro merchants due to quicker onboarding, simpler setup, and fewer hardware requirements.
