Is there an exception process or penalty if the December 2027 deadline is not met?

TCP/IP, API Direct, and older connection versions will continue to be supported, with no retirement plan in place at this time. However, new participants must adopt the Modernised API for DuitNow products/services effective from August 2025. Existing participants have the option to continue using their current connections (e.g., TCP/IP or API Direct) if still valid, transition to the Modernised API, or both.
